Annual Disaster Day

Disaster Day is returning to Six Flags New England this year. This course is designed for the Baystate Health Emergency Medicine Residents, ED RNs, and EMS. We will have a wide variety of providers here from both in and out of hospital present the core material. We have listened to feedback from the previous years and have come up with 6 unique stations! These will include stations on Chest Injuries, Crush Injuries, Neuro Injuries, Adult & Pediatric Triage, and Hemorrhage Control. After rotating through the 6 stations in the morning, we will have lunch and then 2 MCI drills featuring both in and out of hospital scenarios in the afternoon. 4 hours of OEMS CEU credits approved. 4 hours of RN CME pending. There is no fee for this course so register now!!

It is open to all paramedics and the provider must attend both days to receive credit for this course. Topics in the program include transfer guidelines, OEMS protocols, ventilator management, high flow nasal cannula, pharmacology, specific equipment usage, and lab values.
